23rd September 2007
Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: pretty flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: fine Weather: sunny and windy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Pevensey Bay from 10.30am-5.00pm .... windy before I got there, and VFW
Mark had rigged 5.7m & Freewave 104, then it'd dropped so he'd rigged 6.5
and hawk 123 .... I just rigged 7.4m Remedy and Rocket 135 and got on with
it. It was a little up and down to start with but did fill in a bit. Not
enough for me to consider changing down tho.
Came in as saw Gutted appear, loaned him my Rocket 125 and he plugged a
6.5m in it .... reckon he's lost a bit of weight as he went pretty well on
it.
USurf was being a tight ar*e & parked up Rosetti to avoid paying, but the
ticket machine in the car park was broken and we had a freebie anyway
A few new faces appeared too which was cool.
Sailed up to see Baydrew and his buddies at the sailing club and then did a
proper downwinder fanging back to the Bay ..... I do love a decent
downwinder
Lovely day with sunshine & wind, albeit less wind than we'd hoped for, but
warm enough for shorts, and as I was in Nitrous mode, I even sailed through
the grooveriding kiters, also too tight to pay to park having gone from
USurf's zone .... he was also in Nitrous mode so perhaps that's why they
all launched with him
I was just right all day on the Rocket 135 & 7.4m, but Gutted was just
right on Rocket 125 and 6.5m Naish thingy, and VFW Mark had fun on his
Freewave 104 and 6.5m Tushy ..... funny world, but we were all smiling
when packing up
